Habitat for Humanity


Epiphany is a partner in the Eastside Partnership, building homes with Greater Columbus Habitat for Humanity. Epiphany continues to support this ministry through volunteer labor and funds.

Coat & Blanket Drive –

During the month of October, Epiphany provides “the warmth of God’s love” by collecting and distributing coats, mittens, hats, and blankets to the men and women of Fairhaven Place and the Central Ohio community.

Pickerington Food Panty –

Epiphany supports the pantry through food, time & leadership. There is a barrel in the Gathering Space for collecting items for the Food Pantry. The Pantry is available to persons and families in the community who are experiencing financial difficulties and, as a result, need emergency assistance with grocery items.

Fairhaven Place –


is a transitional housing program for homeless men and women of Fairfield County. Located in Lancaster, it is a building with 20 units sponsored by Lutheran Social Services.

• Household Goods Collection:
New or gently used household items are always needed. A detailed list can be found on the bulletin board located at the north end of the building. Collection bins are located below the bulletin board.

Lutheran Social Services Food Pantry –

Epiphany supports the pantry through food, time & leadership. It is available to persons and families who are experiencing financial difficulties and, as a result, need emergency assistance. Four times a year, Epiphany provides volunteers to help fill food orders, sort food and stock shelves. The time commitment is only 5 hours. No experience is necessary; short training is provided when you arrive. Consider signing up with a family member or a friend.

• Book Collection:
New and gently used books are collected for the men and women. The collection bin is located on the south wall of the Gathering Space.

Food for the Poor –

Used printer cartridges can be refilled and resold for a profit. Food for the Poor can provide 20 pounds of rice and beans, which will feed 80 children. Funds also provide housing and medical aid for the poor. Please bring in your used cartridges and place them in the box in the Gathering Space.

Faith Mission –

Faith Mission offers a safe, secure, Christian-based environment for homeless men, women and families on an emergency walk-in basis. Epiphany members donate food and/or their time to prepare and serve the meal several times a year. Look for the sign-up sheets in the Gathering Space.

Recycle for Sight –

Your unwanted glasses can surely help someone else see better. The Lions Club has a box in the Gathering Space to collect old eyeglasses.


Cell Phone Recycling Program –

Cell phones and chargers are collected and donated to Lifecare Alliance who will deliver the cell phone to an older adult in Central Ohio for emergency purposes. These donated cell phones do not have cellular service attached to them, but do have 911 service. A collection box is located near the main entrance in the Gathering Space.
