Epiphany is blessed to have such a dedicated and specialized staff. Not only are they good at what they do and faithful, they genuinly have fun working together! That is special.
If you have a question for any of our staff members click on their name below and you will be directed to our contact page. Feel free to drop us a line anytime.
Hi! I’ve been at the pastor business for 34 years (yep, I’m getting old), the last six here at Epiphany. What a great place to do ministry! What a great community! My deepest hope is that anyone who comes to Epiphany will find a genuine welcome and a place to bring questions, a desire to grow in Christ, and a willingness to share in the graceful love of Jesus.
Love God, Love Neighbor- it’s that simple!
A native of Lima, Ohio, I'm a graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary (Columbus). In the past, I've served as Pastor with Augsburg Lutheran Church (Cincinnati) and with Grace Lutheran Church (Columbus). I've also served as the Director of the International Family Resource Center (Cincinnati), an organization that serves immigrants and refugees. I'm currently serving as Pastor with Hope Lutheran Church (Columbus) on a 3/4 time basis and, in addition, am pleased to serve with Epiphany as the Pastoral Associate.
Hi! I have been serving as part of this terrific staff for 10 years now as the Minister of Christian Education at Epiphany. Before that I worked in Lima, Ohio at Zion Lutheran Church. I love playing volleyball, boating, hanging out with my two kids in the back yard, watching episodes of Psych and reading. After just one visit to Epiphany I think you will get a feel for the warmth, the depth and the family friendly atmosphere here. There are many opportunities to learn, grow and serve in this terrific community of faith!
I began doing ministry here at Epiphany in March of 2001. Working with the many talented people within the congregation and our community who share a passion for meaningful worship has been a real privilege. Before I came to Epiphany I was for many years at another large Lutheran congregation as well as time spent in the Episcopal, Methodist and Presbyterian churches. I taught at Otterbein College for 5 years and for the last 10 years have been on the adjunct faculty at Kenyon College teaching organ and harpsichord. I love to travel and spend time every summer in Europe both to perform/study and to enjoy the museums, music, and culture of other peoples. Having a world view helps me to understand the diversity in ministry right here in Central Ohio.
I am the Minister of Youth at Epiphany. I began serving at Epiphany in January 2008 after serving Trinity Lutheran Church in Valparaiso, Indiana as their Director of Youth and Family Ministries for a little over two years. I graduated Valparaiso University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Theology and Youth, Family, and Education Ministries. I work with youth of all ages through different events and programs throughout the year. My hope for all youth is that they get to experience genuine encounters with Christ and that they learn to walk the journey of faith; being filled with wonder and awe as they discover how being believers connect us all in God’s HUGE family!
I have been working at Epiphany Lutheran Church since 2006 as the secretary but began planting my roots back in 2003 as a preschool teacher in our fantastic program. Since moving back to the Central Ohio area from Cincinnati, my family and I have enjoyed the numerous programs and activities in Pickerington, not limited to Tae-Kwon-Do, soccer, PYAA sports, movies on the barn, summer concert series, Epiphany VBS and Day Camp, and others too numerous to list! Epiphany Lutheran Church is such a welcoming, supportive community to belong to! Not many people can say, “I LOVE coming to work!”
I’ve been the afternoon secretary here at Epiphany for six years. I have lived in Pickerington since 1980, and been a member of Epiphany for over 30 years. I’ve also held secretarial jobs at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and for Pickerington Local Schools. I have two married children: my son and his wife are both music teachers and live in Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and my daughter is a branch manager for the Cincinnati Library System. She and her husband live in Cincinnati and are expecting their first child. I love music and enjoy singing in the choir here at Epiphany, but my great love is ballroom dancing. I’ve taken lessons for over six years and am still learning!
Born and raised near Naperville, Illinois, I now reside in Pickerington with my husband, two daughters, two cats, and one dog. I graduated from Robert Morris College, Carthage, Illinois, in 1985 and continued on with several Accounting classes. I currently work three part-time jobs, and while not sitting at a computer, enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with family.
If you ever need a current Giving Statement or help with applying a Simply Giving account, please let me assist you. I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
'The mission of Epiphany Lutheran Preschool is to inspire children’s natural curiosity to learn through discovery and play in a loving, Christian environment.’ You are welcome to visit the preschool anytime. I look forward to sharing our program and the special ministry we have with the congregation and community. I have served in Lutheran congregations in the Columbus area for over 30 years teaching preschool, directing youth and education programs, and children’s and adult hand bell and vocal choirs. It has been exciting and rewarding to be the preschool administrator at Epiphany since 2010. Currently, I live in Bexley with my husband. Our two children are grown. Our daughter and son-in-law live in Columbus and our son lives in Louisville, Kentucky. When I’m not at the preschool I enjoy walking, reading, gardening, playing the piano and spending time with my family.
